Background:

In the Summer of 2008 we were approached with an idea that seemed slightly incredible. But realizing the advent of applications that could allow such a idea to take place, we immediately jumped on the bandwagon.

It was the vision of VEL Productions LLC a current client and the Laity Arts Foundation to team up and develop a new online media company dedicated to the visual and performing arts.

The website would need to function on two levels. First, we had to build a social network to contain the talent that would eventually provide the content for the network and second, we would have to build a full functioning front website to be used as an informational portal for the arts but also function as a conduit through which visitors could access content channels in the arts.

Results:

A state-of-the-art new media website that caters to visual and performing artist world-wide. With easy navigation, quick audio and video up times and professional content designed to stimulate and educate viewers. We also intergrated and developed a simple roll-over process for viewers who are visual and performing artists to join the social network community in a seamless fashion.

VAPATV.COM is now a choice destination for all visual and performing artists on the Internet.
